The name Avicii Arena is quite new. The building was re-branded in 2021 in honor of the Swedish DJ Tim Bergling, known to the world as Avicii. Tim Bergling, a Stockholm native, sadly passed away in 2018. Before that the official name was first Stockholm Globe Arena, then Ericsson Globe or just "Globen" to us Swedish locals.
